RED Shirt Friday

A gravestone inscribed with "To the Unknown Defenders of Our Country," accompanied by a military medal with a green-and-white striped ribbon. In the foreground, there are military dog tags and a large red poppy flower, symbolizing remembrance and honor for fallen soldiers.

The first thing to know is that RED is an acronym. It stands for Remember Everyone Deployed.

There are two things you can do to celebrate. Where an article of clothing that is red. It may be anything ranging from a shirt, to a necktie or anything that can be seen visibly.

The second way to celebrate is to let other people know why you’re wearing red.

Remember, every day, somewhere in the world our military troops are deployed. Some may be in harm’s way, and others on a routine deployment. No matter how they serve, they are keeping our country safe.
